We are excited to announce the promotion of two of our key staff members, Rebecca Kane and Stephen Smith to an Associate position. The appointment comes as Ashton Mitchell looks to recognise talent within the office while also expanding its senior leadership team as the practice grows.

An award-winning NZ Registered Architect with a wealth of experience in a range of project types, Stephen has played an important part in the planning and conceptual development of multiple projects. Thus, he has been deeply involved in Ashton Mitchell’s design team since joining. Most recently, Stephen has been the design lead amongst many multi-residential projects in the office including the OKLA 2 Albany development which has recently had its resource consent approved by Auckland Council. Stephen is also currently assisting in the site observation of TEAL on Ōrākei which is due for completion in 2022.
